What is SILRC?

The Southern Illinois Learning Resources Cooperative (SILRC) is a not-for-profit corporation composed of members representing institutions of higher learning and library systems in the Southern Illinois area.

Purpose:

SILRC strives to provide expanded learning resources to its members through interaction, cooperation and staff development.

Membership:

Any institution of higher learning in Southern Illinois Can become a SILRC member.  Associate membership is open to any institution of higher learning or any Illinois library system. Contact any SILRC member for further information.

Structure:

SILRC is operated through a board of directors representing each member and associate member. The board meets bimonthly with a prepared agenda. Officers of the corporation are elected by the members.
